Have you ever felt completely alone in a crowded room? Like you're surrounded by people but still feel like you're facing your biggest challenges by yourself? I've been there - sitting in meetings where I felt invisible, walking through difficult seasons where it seemed like no one truly understood what I was going through.

There's something uniquely painful about feeling abandoned when you need support the most. Whether it's starting something new and scary, facing a loss that feels too heavy to bear alone, or just navigating the everyday struggles that make you feel isolated - loneliness can be crushing.

I used to think that having people around me would solve that feeling. But I learned that you can be surrounded by friends, family, and colleagues and still feel profoundly alone when facing life's biggest moments.

That's when Joshua 1:5 became my anchor:

"No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you or forsake you."

What strikes me most about this verse is the absolute certainty in God's promise. He doesn't say "I might be with you" or "I'll try to be there." He says "I will be with you" and "I will never leave you." Never. Not when you mess up, not when you feel unworthy, not when everyone else walks away.

The same God who was with Moses through the wilderness, who was with Joshua as he faced impossible battles, is the same God who promises to be with you through whatever you're facing today.
